Exciting Plans Unveiled for Nateland: Nashville’s New Theme Park

Nate Bargatze, beloved comedian and Nashville native, is bringing his vision to life with Nateland, an upcoming theme park that embraces the charm of local culture while paying homage to the legacy of Opryland USA. Set on over 100 acres, this family-friendly destination promises thrilling roller coasters, live entertainment, and nostalgic experiences that reflect Bargatze's life and career.

A Tribute to Opryland USA

One of the most exciting developments for Nateland is its proposed connection to Opryland USA. This legendary theme park was once a staple for Nashville families and tourists alike. The creative team, Storyland Studios, has already filed a trademark application for the "Screamin’ Delta Demon," named after Opryland’s iconic coaster. Although there are no official details on specific rides or attractions yet, the intention to honor this cherished part of Nashville's history is clear.

What Will Nateland Include?

The plans for Nateland are ambitious, featuring multiple themed areas inspired by different periods of Nate's life. Guests can expect a nostalgic 1990s-style mall entrance, a variety of restaurants, and live shows that will keep everyone entertained. Notably, attractions will include the proposed "Donkey Dive" ride, which draws inspiration from one of Bargatze’s popular comedy bits.

Creating a Unique Experience

Nateland aims to blend traditional amusement park rides with innovative experiences that reflect Nashville’s unique vibe. The concept artwork reveals a vibrant space featuring colorful attractions interspersed with family-friendly activities and greenery. This thoughtfully designed environment resembles an urban entertainment district rather than a conventional amusement park, incorporating both adventure and community spirit.

Community and Connection

For families, Nateland represents an opportunity to create unforgettable memories. Its tributes to culture, combined with modern entertainment, are bound to resonate with visitors of all ages. As Bargatze steps into this new role, he humorously claims he’ll be the equivalent of Mickey Mouse for the park, showcasing his commitment to personalized experiences that emphasize the joy of family connection.

As we look forward to the opening of Nateland, one thing is certain—this project captures the heart of Nashville. With its evolving plans and a strong sense of community, it promises to be a top destination for both locals and visitors alike.

Now is the time for everyone to stay tuned and get ready for what could be Nashville’s next great adventure!
